Fully tanked, step-free shower rooms with gentle falls to a linear or centre drain. No trip hazards, no shower trays to climb over — just a flat, non-slip floor from door to drain. Ideal for wheelchair users and anyone unsteady on their feet.
Where a full wet room isn’t practical or necessary, we fit low-profile shower trays with slim thresholds and wide openings. Half-height glass screens keep the water in without boxing you in.
Stainless steel or white powder-coated grab rails fixed into solid walls or backing boards. Fold-down shower seats, doc-M packs for WCs, and lever-operated taps and mixers — all fitted securely and in the right positions for the person using them.
Raised-height toilets and wall-hung WCs that make sitting down and standing up easier. Shallow-depth basins and adjustable-height vanities for wheelchair access. Thermostatic mixer valves throughout for scald protection.

We look at the existing layout, measure the space, talk through what’s difficult day-to-day, and work out what will actually make a difference. Level-Access Wet Rooms Built to Last
A wet room is often the safest and most practical option for wheelchair users or anyone who finds stepping over a shower tray difficult. There’s no tray edge to negotiate, no shower door to squeeze through — just a flat, continuous floor from the bathroom door to the drain. We tank the entire floor with a membrane system, lay non-slip vinyl or tiled flooring with a gentle gradient to the drain, and fit thermostatic controls to prevent scalding.
Every wet room we install includes chrome or white grab rails positioned where they’re actually needed, a fold-down shower seat, and a wide drainage channel that handles the water flow without pooling. We use linear drains rather than centre drains wherever possible — they’re easier to clean, look better and allow more flexibility with where the shower head sits.
The tanking system we use is a bonded membrane applied to the floor and up the walls to at least 100mm above the finished floor level. This keeps water out of the subfloor and surrounding walls permanently — not just for the first few years. We won’t tile over bare plasterboard and call it waterproof. The substrate, the membrane and the tile adhesive all matter, and we get all three right.
If you’re converting a bedroom or downstairs room into a wet room, we handle the drainage run, any floor build-up needed for the gradient, and connections to existing waste pipes. We’ll tell you during the home survey exactly what’s involved so there are no surprises once work starts.

Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG)
If you need bathroom adaptations because of a disability, you may be eligible for a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) of up to £30,000. The grant can cover the full cost of essential adaptations — including level-access showers, grab rails, wider doorways and accessible WCs. We work with grant applicants regularly and can provide the itemised quotes and specifications your council’s OT or caseworker needs to process the application.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most installations take between five and eight working days depending on the complexity of the work. A straightforward wet room conversion from an existing bathroom is usually at the shorter end. If structural work is needed — such as widening a doorway or moving drainage — it can take a little longer. We’ll give you a clear timeline before any work starts.
You may be eligible for a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) through BCP Council or Dorset Council. The grant is means-tested and requires an assessment by an occupational therapist. We can provide all the quotes and documentation your council needs and have worked with many grant-funded customers.
Not necessarily. If you’re applying for a DFG, the council will arrange an OT assessment as part of the process. If you’re funding the work privately, you can brief us directly on what you need and we’ll advise on the best layout and fittings. If you do have an OT report, we’re happy to follow it to the letter.
Sometimes, especially if we’re repositioning the WC or converting a bedroom into a wet room. We assess the existing drainage during the home survey and include any necessary pipework alterations in the quote. There are no surprises — if drainage work is needed, you’ll know about it before we start.
